GeckoTeq – picture rail and other hanging systems is an initiative of Jur Dijkman, with the Amersfoort Art Gallery at the Princess Julian Square in Amersfoort as the foundation. His picture framing, as a part of the Gallery, has been a concept in the region for decades. Picture hanging rail systems, picture hooks and wires are therefore a logical addition to the product range.

In 2011, it was decided to market the picture hanging rail systems through Picture-Hanging Systems as a part of Amersfoort Art.
